We have a great deal of goings-on in our tasting room this month; the class of events for which one marks their calendar in ink lest they miss out on surefire merriment.

SOCIETE OKTOBERFEST
Saturday, September 30 | 12-10 p.m.
For a single day, our tasting room will undergo a metamorphosis, becoming a German-themed bier hall decked out in blue, white and every earthen shade in the SRM spectrum. Enjoy beers served in commemorative steins—including DIE KELLNERIN Oktoberfest Lager—along with a beer-infused menu of reimagined German classics devised by our culinarian friends from Biersal. Neither euros nor a linguistic grasp of the German language are required to partake. Admission is free and all nationalities of beer will be celebrated!

SMALL BUSINESS POP-UP
Saturday, September 2 | 1-6 p.m.
Four times a year we round up local purveyors of hand-crafted goods and invite them to our tasting room so our patrons can peruse and, if so inclined, partake of them. Should perusal transition to purchase, we will happily reduce the price of each full pour of beer you order from us by a dollar. Our latest assemblage of small businesses includes Craft + Foster, The Beer Can Soap Company, Craft & Copper and Street Blooms.

CHARITY TUESDAYS
Tuesday, September 5, 12, 19 & 26
Any creature befitting the title of “man’s best friend” is worthy of a helping hand, and we’ll proudly provide that when we have representatives from our September charity partner, The Rescued Dog, in our tasting room to introduce you to their volunteer organization, its mission and some adorable four-legged friends in search of their forever homes. Sit, stay and maybe depart with a new family member. Regardless, a portion of all Tuesday tasting-room sales for the month will be donated to this splendid non-profit.

INTERNATIONAL SOUR BEER DAY
Saturday, September 9 | 12-10 p.m.
In celebration of ales registering as tart, funky, fruity and otherwise exotic, we will aim to tap a special keg of one of our Feral ales (which is a surprise and you wouldn’t want us to ruin that, now, would you?). We will also offer pours of at least five our our Feral beers at roughly half the price of a bottle for the entire day.

DIE KELLNERIN DEBUT
Saturday, September 16
We are immensely enamored with historically significant, grand-scale, beer-oriented celebrations. Case in point, Germany’s Oktoberfest. When that bacchanalian folk festival kicks off across the Atlantic, we celebrate by tapping our Oktoberfest Lager, DIE KELLNERIN, and offering it in steins. It’s a wee slice of Deutschland in Kearny Mesa.
