The Societe Brewing Company Tasting Room was designed to serve our beer in its ideal form – fresh from the brewery that sits 30 feet away. The tasting room is open to the public 7 days a week. We are children and dog friendly, and ask only that they both be well-behaved, well-supervised, and leashed at all times.

Saturday, April 6, 12-11 p.m. | Pink Boots Society IPA Release Party: Join us as we tap a brand-new beer, The Brewster. Named for the female fermentationists who made up the majority of the brewing population in the early days of beer, this IPA was brewed specifically to raise awareness and funds for the Pink Boots Society. We’ll have members of PBS on-site as well as a woman-owned small business market featuring the Azaki Project, La Buena Vida Studio, Sparkly Scribes, Uttu Design, Kassi Grunder Jewelry, Rossel & Company, Playthings by Peggy and Street Blooms. On top of that, we’re going to tap the first in our series of single-barrel, small-batch creations from our barrel-aging room, The Journeyman Single-Barrel Feral Blonde Ale with Grapefruit.

Sunday, April 7, 1-3 p.m. | Cross-Stitch & Beer Workshop: Enjoy Societe beer while Playthings by Peggy teaches you to cross-stitch an array of novelty key chains. $20 gets you all the materials you need, yarn (20 colors to choose from), plastic mesh canvas, key chain and ring, a cross-stitch needle, pattern, instructions and a full pour of Societe beer. Tickets are available online.

Monday, April 8, 4 p.m. | Mix & Mingle Monday: On Mondays we invite our local brewing industry friends over to hang out with our awesome patrons and talk about beer or anything else you all are interested in. Our next guests will be the trailblazers from Stone Brewing.

Saturday, April 13, 10:30 a.m. | Bluegrass Yoga: Prefer to stretch and center yourself to the sounds of fiddles, banjos, mouth-harps and the occasional washboard? Then this novel take on an otherwise-traditional yoga class is for you. Admission includes a one-hour session followed by a Societe beer a half-hour before we open to the public! Tickets are available online and at the door day-of.

Saturday, April 13, 1-4 p.m. | Beer & Cupcake Pairing: We’re taking beer and confections to new and unexpected heights with Daniela’s Kitchen (they made the top 3 in Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship) pairing four of their gourmet creations with our beers. Tickets are available online.

Thursday, April 18, 6 p.m. | Women Who Fly: We’re teaming with Road Runner Sports and HOKA ONE ONE to be the starting and ending point for a fun, free 5K from here to Road Runner’s Kearny Mesa location. All participants will get $2 off beers for the night and the entire event will benefit the non-profit Girls On The Run.

Saturday, April 27, 10:30 a.m. | Metal Yoga: We’ve made a tradition of opening our tasting room early the last Saturday of each month and converting it into a rockin’ yoga studio. Find your center and free your mind against the backdrop of unadulterated metal, then cool down with a pint (it really helps with the whole pursuit-of-inner-peace thing). Tickets will be available on Eventbrite as well as at our tasting room day-of.

Saturday, May 4, 12-5 p.m. | PinPopPalooza: To celebrate not one, but TWO holidays (Free Comic Book Day and Star Wars Day), we’re teaming with Blank Slate Design to put on an epic pin market stocked with new and exclusive artistic offerings. There’ll be food trucks and a commemorative “Darth Brew” pin for the first 70 guests through our doors. Make plans to join us for an eclectic and beery good time!
